Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport clients or goods efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with luggage or packages, and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times, performing regular inspections and basic mechanical checks to ensure safety and reliability. Plan routes effectively to optimize travel time while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Manage schedules diligently, coordinating pickups and drop-offs to meet client expectations and deadlines. Communicate professionally with clients and team members to confirm itineraries or address any concerns during transit. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs for reporting purposes. Assist with loading and unloading cargo or passengers as needed, demonstrating flexibility in various driving environments such as school bus routes or delivery runs.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial driving roles such as limousine service, shuttle driving, bus operation, school bus driving, or delivery driver positions. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., chauffeur's license or commercial driver's license). Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle operation best practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and identify potential issues early. Ability to navigate using GPS systems or traditional maps efficiently. Physical stamina to handle long periods of driving and assist with luggage or cargo when necessary. Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays as required.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience operating different vehicle types such as limousines, box trucks, shuttle buses or school buses. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and troubleshooting minor mechanical problems. Background in hospitality or roles requiring high levels of customer interaction. Shuttle driving experience in corporate or airport settings. Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial transportation operations.
