Charter Boat Deckhand
Job Description
The Business: We run a yacht charter business out of Marina del Rey. Charters are 12-passenger charters, typically 3-6 hrs each, consisting of mostly harbor cruises and Santa Monica Bay tours, with the occasional full day charter to Catalina. The Vessels: All our charter options are fully licensed for charter and are large powerboats. We expect anyone applying for this position to have previous experience on powerboats. The Crew:
We are looking for a deckhand that knows how to keep a boat maintained in excellent condition, is professional and has amazing customer service skills, and is extremely hard working and reliable. We expect the deckhand to prep the boat and have it ready when the captain arrives for departure, maintain the boat and ensure the guests safety during the charter, and then clean the boat and restock any items needed to prepare for the following day\'s charters. The position pays for all hours worked including the time spent before and after the charter to prep and put away the boat. Requirements: Must have previous deckhand experience and must live within 30 minutes from Marina Del Rey. Please do not apply if you don\'t meet these requirements.
