John F. Murphy Homes is seeking a dedicated

Charge Nurse

to provide leadership, safety, and medical oversight at our ICF/IID nursing home. You'll supervise staff, support residents, and step into a key decision-making role when needed -- making every shift meaningful.


What You'll Do:




Administer and manage medications & treatments Supervise and support CNAs and direct care staff Communicate with physicians, guardians & care teams Monitor health, vital signs, labs, and documentation Ensure safety, quality, and compliance at all times

What We're Looking For:




Licensed

RN or LPN in Maine

(good standing) Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to stay calm and decisive in emergencies Compassion, patience, and professionalism

Experience




RequiredStrong communication and leadership skills Experience with persons with physical and intellectual disabilities

Preferred3 - 5 years: Nursing experience

RequiredGeneral Educational Development or better High School Diploma or better Bachelor Degree or better in Nursing
