Description
The Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.



The Charge Nurse/MDS position is responsible for the assessment and care planning for residents, the Minimum Data Set program and ensuring that staff follow care plans.



Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Accurately performing resident assessments and care plans in accordance with mandatory timeframes and federal regulations. Accurate coding of the MDS data. Maintains current status of residents in accordance with state and federal requirements and transmits data timely and accurately to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

This position, in org unit 10202457, Hardin county has an approved Locality Premium of $12.02 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:

Must have two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:

A bachelor's degree in nursing will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:

NONE

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):
