Full Time Evening/Night Shift LPN/RN

he Nicol Home is seeking skilled Certified LPN/RN Charge Nurses for open night or day shift hours to act as RN coverage when needed. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

?Recognize and deal with immediate needs of each resident in accordance with their plan of care and prescribed policies and procedures of the facility Ensures that all safety and infection control practices are followed Distributes and documents medications according to established standards and regulations Supervises the nursing assistants on duty Responds to emergency situations Communicates with residents, families and physicians efficiently and quickly Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Make physical rounds at the beginning and end of each shift with oncoming shift

The Nicol Home operates 24-hours-a-day and 7-days-per-week. We utilize different shifts within 24 hours, with an overlap in the shift start/end times for communication between shifts. Ideal candidates have current and unencumbered license as an RN in this state, certification in CPR/AED/First-Aid, and at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting or assisted living community.

The Nicol Home operates 24-hours-a-day and 7-days-per-week. We utilize different shifts within 24 hours, with an overlap in the shift start/end times for communication between shifts. Ideal candidates have current and unencumbered license as an CNA or CMA in this state, certification in CPR/AED/First-Aid, and preferably some experience in a long-term care setting or assisted living community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
