Griffin Health is currently seeking a

Per Diem Chaplain

to join our Spiritual Care and Education Department. The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate, interfaith approach to spiritual care for our diverse patient and staff community and contribute meaningfully to our mission of person-centered care.

Main Function:

The Chaplain will provide

Interfaith spiritual care

to patients, families, and staff across the hospital under the guidance of the Director of Spiritual Care and Education. Responsibilities include:


Delivering direct spiritual support in a professional and compassionate manner. Leading and facilitating

spirituality and support groups

, as well as additional programming as assigned. Supporting

community outreach

, program development, and building partnerships within and beyond Griffin Health. Maintaining

accurate and timely documentation

of all services provided. Performing both

in-hospital and on-call chaplaincy shifts

, including

weekends and holidays

. Offering

clerical support

and demonstrating

computer literacy

for administrative responsibilities.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree required.

Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)

preferred (other relevant experience will be considered).

Experience:

Experience in

Emergency Department chaplaincy

and in

diversity & inclusion work

is strongly preferred. Must have experience in:

Crisis Ministry

+

Interfaith Chaplaincy

+

Facilitating support and spirituality groups

per diem/on-call capacity
