Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the health, safety, and aesthetics of trees and landscapes. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing specialized equipment, and applying horticultural knowledge to ensure optimal tree care and landscape maintenance. The Arborist will play a vital role in supporting our clients' outdoor environments through expert tree trimming, pruning, and landscape management.

Responsibilities

Perform tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Operate bucket trucks, bucket operation equipment, and rigging tools safely and efficiently. Utilize GIS technology for mapping and planning landscape projects. Conduct lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal. Apply growing experience and horticultural principles to diagnose plant health issues and recommend appropriate treatments. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including working at heights and around heavy equipment. Assist with tree planting projects and ongoing landscape development efforts. Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

Experience

Prior experience in tree care, tree trimming, or landscaping is preferred. Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe tree removal or pruning is highly desirable. Experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment is a plus. Familiarity with GIS mapping tools related to landscape planning is beneficial. Growing experience in horticulture or related fields will be considered an asset. Hands-on experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or arboriculture practices is advantageous. Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
