Summary

Ofab is seeking a full-time (M-F 6:00a.m.-2:30p.m.) skilled Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team This role is vital in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, contributing to our mission of delivering quality on-time products to our customers.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of welding processes and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards. Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess weld quality and integrity. Perform quality audits and maintain detailed inspection records. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards throughout the manufacturing process. Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices to team members. Analyze inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare reports on inspection findings and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Certified Welding Inspector or similar role in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality control processes. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
