Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

to support QA/QC and compliance requirements on an as-needed basis.

Role Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable, dependable

CWI

to support project weld inspections, procedure verification, documentation, and overall welding compliance on pipeline, mechanical, and structural scopes. This position is

part-time / contract

with flexible scheduling depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

Perform weld inspections per AWS/API/ASME codes Review WPS, PQR, WQR documentation for compliance Provide QA/QC oversight for pipeline, mechanical, and structural welding Support project documentation packages and client compliance requirements Assist in building Ryanco's internal QA/QC system and procedures Provide on-call guidance or inspection support during active project phases Generate clear and professional inspection reports

Qualifications

AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate based on experience (open to discussion) Contract / 1099 structure Flexible scheduling -- project-based needs
