Job Overview

Silk Veterinary Hospital is a privately-owned, small animal practice located in Wayland, Massachusetts. We are a well-established single-doctor practice looking to add a hard-working, self-motivated, and reliable veterinary technician to our team. The ideal candidate is a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, but it is not required. Must have experience in small animal veterinary medicine. Good communication skills with clients, as well as proficiency in restraint, venipuncture, digital radiography, client communication, pharmacy skills, and medical record knowledge are highly valued. Experience with surgical preparation, dentistry, anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring are preferred.

Qualifications

Valid certification as a Veterinary Technician from an accredited program is highly valued. Familiarity with dental and surgical procedures desired. Ability to operate X-ray and laboratory equipment. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
