About This Location:

Timberline Animal Hospital is hiring in Fort Collins! We are a very fast paced, full service veterinary hospital with an excellent reputation for developing lasting relationships with our clients and providing exceptional care to our patients.

We are a small animal hospital serving dogs, cats, and a few small mammals offering a wide range of veterinary services to our patients from annual vaccines and in-house diagnostics to advanced dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, and hospitalization services.
Overview:

We are looking for a

Certified Veterinary Technician

to join our expanding team and help us provide exceptional experiences. By joining our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you will have access to a peer network of over 5,000 individuals, continuing education allowances, and learning and development programs to support you in achieving your career goals.
Responsibilities / Qualifications:

Position Skills:

Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements:

Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state. Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology

Pay range of $20.00 + depending on experience
