Certified Veterinary Technician - More Than Support Staff, You're a Partner in Care
Join a Fear Free, vet-led team where your skills are valued, your voice matters, and your career can truly thrive.
About PetVet365
At PetVet365, we're reimagining what it means to work in veterinary medicine. Vet owned and vet led, we design hospitals and teams around what matters most: life-work balance, meaningful patient interactions, and a Fear Free environment that benefits pets and the people who care for them.
We believe every pet deserves the highest standard of care every day. And we believe veterinary professionals deserve a workplace where they can thrive -- with less stress, more teamwork, and the support to grow their careers. Together, we're paving the way toward healthier pets, happier clients, and stronger veterinary teams.
The Role
Our Certified Veterinary Technicians are more than support staff -- they're essential partners in delivering personalized, Fear Free care. From the moment a patient enters the hospital, technicians are hands-on in ensuring visits are smooth, stress-free, and clearly communicated to families. As the doctor's trusted right hand, you'll play a critical role in everything from diagnostics to surgery, while also helping to create a calmer, more rewarding workplace for the entire team.
What You'll Do
Champion Fear Free: Ensure every interaction lowers stress for pets and enhances the experience for clients and the team.
Assist doctors with medical, surgical, and dental procedures -- including anesthesia, monitoring, and recovery.
Perform physical exams, record vitals, and monitor patients.
Administer medications, injections, and fluids according to hospital protocols.
Perform diagnostics including radiographs, EKGs, bloodwork, and lab procedures.
Triage urgent patients and assist in emergency care.
Support clear, compassionate communication with clients -- from care instructions to follow-up calls.
Maintain exam rooms, surgical areas, and inventory for smooth hospital operations.
Partner with veterinary technicians, assistants, and doctors to foster a positive, collaborative culture.
