Full-time, 40 hours per week; 4x10-hour shifts; variable start times; occasional call requiredJob Summary:
The Central Sterile Supply Technician will support the Surgery Department by ensuring all surgical instrumentation and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and prepared for procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
Process, clean, and sterilize all OR and departmental instruments Perform daily testing and maintenance of sterilizers Assemble and create pre-packaged instrument sets for various procedures Prepare and set up case carts for OR cases Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with departmental standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred Knowledge of hospital instruments and sterilization processes preferred Ability to work variable start times and take occasional call
