Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to support KPS and our government customer in Savannah, GA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • The on-site Health Care Provider will provide physical examinations for medical surveillance, deployment, pre-employment, post-exposure, fitness for duty and return to work.
  • Laboratory specimen values interpretation
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation
  • Pulmonary function test interpretation
  • Audiometry interpretation
  • Support and medical supervision of nursing staff.
  • Completion of records
  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries USACE staff, to include:
  • Triage decisions related to transfer of patients to urgent care/Emergency Department
  • Physical examination
  • Coordination of referrals to outside care providers or Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Consultation with USACE employees regarding health issues or concerns.
  • Deployment, Preplacement, Travel medicine consultation and vaccine recommendations
  • Review of medical charts
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Shall be licensed within in the state of Georgia, have been professionally employed as a Nurse Practitioner for a minimum of five (5) years and be knowledgeable of regulations and resources relating to occupational medicine such as OSHA, NIOSH, DoD, DA and Occupational Medicine Practice Guidelines (ACOEM).
  • Provide evidence of current licensure and specialty certification as appropriate with proposal for review.
  • Have and maintain certification in Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (BLSHCP)
  • Have and maintain a valid state driver\'s license.
  • Must be FMCSA certified to perform DOT physicals.
  • Experience in Dive Exams and Coast Guard exams desired.
Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
