Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Freiderica Pharmacy & Compounding in Little Rock, AR. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients, contributing to our mission of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and patient profiles.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
Support medication administration processes as directed by pharmacists.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
Must have experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software, rx entry, claim processing, POS operation, and dispensing.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in an independent, locally owned pharmacy is a plus.
