Pharmacy Technician - VA Meds by Mail

Locations:

Dublin, GA - 2103 Veterans Blvd, Suite 21, Dublin, GA 31021 Cheyenne, WY - 5353 Yellowstone Road, Cheyenne, WY 82009

Schedule:

Dublin, GA: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday - Friday (local time) Cheyenne, WY: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday - Friday (local time) Shifts may rotate within the above schedule to meet laboratory needs

Job Summary:

Veterans Engineering is seeking certified Pharmacy Technicians to support the VA Meds by Mail (MbM) program. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate prescription processing, call center support, and clerical tasks for the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). Technicians will operate both automated and manual procedures to process prescriptions, follow established protocols, and provide counseling to patients and family members on proper medication use.

Responsibilities:

Process prescription orders using automated and manual systems Perform call center triage services and clerical support to meet MbM workload demands Review and process external prescriptions in accordance with approved management protocols Communicate therapeutic change requests with physician offices as needed Counsel and educate patients and family members on safe and proper medication use

Required Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) status Familiarity with prescription processing procedures and call center operations Ability to follow established VA protocols and medication safety guidelines Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in VA pharmacy or mail-order pharmacy settings Ability to work independently in a remote environment (for virtual roles)

Compensation:

Full-time and part-time schedules may be available
