Job Description

Actalent is hiring for Certified Pharmacy Technicians nationally! We are looking for quality Certified Pharmacy technicians that have great experience and are ready to work. This is a remote position and a great opportunity for a new role in the pharmaceutical world.



Technicians are reviewing Prior Authorizations for determination for a Pharmacy Services department a part of a large healthcare insurance company.

Must either approve or deny and then send them to a pharmacists for final review. Handling all health plans, and all types of medications.

They will also be handling some phone calls from members - inbound call.

Process prescription exceptions which may include: resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach.

Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.

Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues.

Escalate questions regarding prescription to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing.

Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls.

Must Have

National Certification for a Pharmacy Technician and registered pharmacy technician license within the state that you are living in.

Strong computer skills needed.
