Tomoka Eye Associates is seeking an experienced
JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
to join our team at our Palm Coast office. We are afast-paced, multi-physician practice
proudly celebrating53 years of excellence
in patient care.Responsibilities include:
Obtaining detailed patient medical history (chief complaint, PFSH, POH, medications, allergies) Performing visual acuity testing, pupil exams, CVF, and EOM assessments Conducting strabismus, color vision, and stereo testing Performing manual refractions, plus cylinder with the Jackson cross Applanation tonometry Performing diagnostic testing such as OCT, corneal topography, Pentacam, and visual field testing
Requirements:
Current JCAHPO certification Flexible schedule with reliable transportation and ability to travel between all three locations Strong background in customer service Excellent computer, organizational, and communication skills Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
