Certified Nurse Midwife

OBGYN

team in

Carmel IN

! This position is PRN and provides competitive pay and benefits, while providing a flexible schedule within hours of operation. The environment is conducive to collaboration and support. IU Health Medical Group has skilled support staff and provides Vital Work Life to improve provider well-being. There is support for APP's through the APP Manager and APP Leader.


Position Details:




PRN- (Days, Nights, Rotating) + 12-hour shifts
+ No Call
100% Inpatient

Job Responsibilities:




Inpatient obstetrical Care Managing antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care Diagnosing and coordinating all aspects if the birthing process Acting as first assist for cesarean sections.

Procedures include

: + Vaginal delivery
+ Episiotomy with repair
+ Repair of 1st & 2nd degree lacerations
+ FSE/IUPC placement, LARC placement/removal
+ Assist MD in cesarean sections

Qualifications:




Master's degree required CNM, certification required At least 1 year of experience

preferred

Certified Nurse Midwife must have previous work experience within a health system delivering both ambulatory and inpatient care Successful candidates will have critical thinking skills, strong communication skills, and provide quality care and be a team player Must have strong knowledge base of obstetrical inpatient management
