Position Highlights:

  • This position will assist other neighborhood Certified Nurse Assistants with dining, water pass, bed making, vitals, and other basic cares. This position will transition into a regular duty CNA with regular evening hours.

Job Summary
  • Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, personal care and services to residents in the skilled nursing facility, which meets their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual needs on a daily basis to maintain and improve their highest level of independent function.
  • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will have a sincere desire to provide the highest quality of daily care to develop meaningful relationships with our residents.
  • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will have the ability to provide care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with your team.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • Certified as a nursing assistant in the State of South Dakota required within 120 days of starting this position.
  • Basic Life Support Certification required within 6 months if primary work shift is a night shift position.
Work Schedule
  • Day/Evening position; 24 hours every 2 weeks
  • 7:30am-11:30am and 4:00pm-8:00pm
  • Shifts include every other weekend and every other holiday.
Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
  • $18.25 - $24.00 per hour
