Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide certified in NJ to provide high-quality in-home care to clients with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with disabilities. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by supporting their health, safety, and independence within their homes and communities. Candidates must be certified, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities



Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly Administer medications and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or EMR systems for accurate record keeping Perform vital signs assessments such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Support patients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care strategies Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and catheter care devices safely Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals and document all services provided accurately

Skills



Proven experience in home health care, hospice, long-term care, or assisted living environments Knowledge of medical documentation preparation of meals Ability to work with people with developmental disabilities or other special needs Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes knowledge of emergency procedures Competence in assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts Excellent communication skills for working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate caregiving attitude with a focus on patient safety and dignity
This position is ideal for caregivers committed to providing compassionate home health services while fostering independence for their clients. Applicants should possess a valid certification as a Home Health Aide and demonstrate a strong understanding of patient-centered care practices.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 84 per week
