Hourly Rate:

$44.43 - $66.61 (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus:

$20,000

Relocation Assistance:

Shift Differentials:

+ Evenings: +$1.50/hr
+ Nights: +$2.10/hr
+ Weekends: +$1.50/hr

On-Call Pay:

$6.00/hour

Call-Back Pay:

2 hours at 1.5x base rate + 1 hour travel time

We are seeking an experienced

Certified First Assist - CVOR

to join a busy, high-volume

Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

team in Las Vegas. This role involves advanced surgical assisting, saphenous vein harvesting, and cardiovascular support for open-heart procedures. With competitive pay, a

Key Responsibilities

Provide intraoperative support including exposure, hemostasis, and technical functions. Assist with

saphenous vein harvesting

and cardiovascular surgical procedures. Maintain sterile technique and compliance with surgical protocols. Collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary OR staff to ensure safe, effective patient care. Participate in on-call rotation (1 day per week and 1 weekend per month).

Qualifications

Required:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). Certified Surgical First Assistant (accredited national agency). High school diploma. BLS certification. Recent experience in

CVOR

and

vein harvesting

. Open-heart surgical experience.

Preferred:

Acute clinical care background. Cardiothoracic surgery experience.
