As a Reporter, you will be responsible for gathering information, conducting interviews, and crafting compelling stories that engage our audience. This role requires proficiency in various computer applications and a keen eye for detail.

Duties

Research and investigate newsworthy topics to develop comprehensive stories. Conduct interviews with relevant sources to gather information and quotes. Write clear, concise, and accurate articles for publication across various platforms. Edit and proofread content to ensure high standards of quality and adherence to style guidelines. Utilize Microsoft Word for drafting and formatting articles efficiently. Transcribe interviews and other audio materials as needed. Collaborate with editors and other team members to refine story ideas and content direction. Stay updated on industry trends and current events to inform reporting.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other computer applications is essential. Strong typing skills with attention to detail for transcription tasks. Previous legal administrative experience or general administrative experience is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines. A passion for journalism and a commitment to ethical reporting practices is essential.
