The Role:

The Certified Addictions Practitioner helps individuals struggling with substance use or behavioral addictions by providing counseling, support, and guidance through their recovery journey. The CAP will assist with aligning care across the system to help fulfill the varied requirements of payers and wield influence throughout all departments and service lines, providing strategic direction and accountability for all organizational deliverables in support of CWCC's mission, vision, values and strategic priorities.

What you will do:

Conduct initial assessments to understand the extent and nature of the individual's addiction, including their physical and mental health, social support, and history of substance use Develop personalized treatment plans that may include therapy, counseling, support groups, and other interventions tailored to the individuals needs Provides on-on-one or group counseling sessions to help individuals address the underlying causes of addiction, learn coping skills, and modify behaviors Offer education about addiction, relapse prevention techniques, and support to both individuals in recovery and their families to facilitate the healing process Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Certified Addictions Practitioner certification required Completion of a Pre-Employment Drug Screen Completion of a Background Check Satisfactory Driving Record
