This is a part time position, 20 hours a week

Role Purpose:
We are seeking a talented and strategic CEO Communications Adviser to join our dynamic team. As the CEO\xe2\x80\x99s communications partner, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective communications strategies that align with the company\xe2\x80\x99s purpose, ambition, strategies, and values. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the CEO\xe2\x80\x99s reputation, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and reinforcing the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic direction.
Reports to the Group Director, Communications and serves as a key member of the Communications Leadership Team at Worley.

Key internal stakeholders for this position are Group Director, Communications; Group Executive (CEO directs); Communications Council comprising of Investor Relations, Marketing (social media), Corporate Affairs (external communications), Company Secretary and the Office of the CEO; daily connection with the Communications Leadership Team members. They expect an aligned and robust communications strategy, counsel, and exceptional tactical implementation.
The contractor must exercise considerable discretion about information communicated and handle serious and sensitive subjects with tact, excellent judgment, and confidentiality.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and Group Executive to formulate comprehensive communication strategies that support business objectives, enhance employee engagement and maintain a positive image.
  • Craft compelling and consistent strategic key messages for the CEO, that can be leveraged and cascaded by the Group Executive to their teams.
  • Facilitate transparent and effective internal communication between the CEO and employees, ensuring consistency, alignment, and engagement.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of the CEO\xe2\x80\x99s communications channels - including developing content and driving follower growth and engagement on the CEO\xe2\x80\x99s LinkedIn newsfeed.
  • Work with the Communications Leadership Team (business partners to the Group Executive) members to codify executive communications best-in-class - unify messaging, build trust, and enhance communications capability and engagement.
  • Develop and refine the CEO tone of voice and thought leadership (content and subject matter).
  • Partner with key stakeholders (e.g., Executive Admin, Investor Relations, Corporate Affairs, and Marketing) to coordinate efforts and advise the CEO on which to pursue and prioritize.
  • Measure communications efforts and leverage results to continuously improve.
  • Actively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify communication opportunities and foster collaboration and mutual support across Worley.


About You:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
  • 10+ years of related experience working with large, globally-matrixed organizations with an emphasis on internal communications and CEO-level executive communications.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams effectively across multiple organizational boundaries and communicate across a culturally diverse audience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and adapt to changing situations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, video communication, and presentation development.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior, confidentiality, and professionalism
