You will be expected to effectively uncover customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and deliver excellent customer service in the process. Attention to detail and great communication skills are a must. Computer work is also required, including POS sales transactions, package tracking, navigating email, printing/copier usage, and package processing. This is a physical, sometimes fast-paced position that involves lifting, lowering, and sliding packages that typically weigh 1 - 25 lbs.

- Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
- Promotes sales.
- Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
- Takes ownership of the customer\'s shipping needs and offers viable solutions
- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
- Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Outstanding phone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including typing, spelling, and math.
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible, able to lift 40+ pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Manual hand dexterity required to operate POS, copier and binding machinery, packaging tools, and complete customer paperwork.
- Willing and able to work 35 to 40 hours per week between Monday to Saturday.
