IncidentClear is seeking motivated, dependable individuals with a strong desire to serve and a background in helping others to join the CDOT Safety Patrol Program. Operators are responsible for keeping Denver Metro's busiest highways safe and clear by providing rapid response to disabled vehicles and road hazards.
The Freeway Service Patrol Operator will operate a fully equipped company vehicle and be responsible for clearing debris, assisting motorists, and performing minor roadside repairs. This is a high-impact, high-responsibility role requiring sound judgment, reliability, and a customer-first mindset.
Operators are essential to maintaining safety and traffic flow during peak hours, crashes, or breakdowns. If you're ethical, honorable, and ready to make a difference -- we want you on our team.

Job Responsibilities:
Patrol designated highways and respond to incidents as dispatched or observed
Assist stranded motorists by:
+ Providing fuel, oil, and fluids
+ Changing or inflating tires
+ Performing minor mechanical repairs
+ Transporting motorists to a safe location
+ Offering directions or cell phone assistance Secure the incident scene to protect motorists and ensure safety
Remove debris and stranded vehicles from traffic lanes
Communicate clearly and professionally with the public, dispatchers, and emergency responders
Complete logs and reports of daily patrol activities
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 25 years of age
Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a criminal background check (no felony convictions)
Pass pre-employment and random drug testing
Strong reliability and punctuality
Ability to lift 60 pounds
Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics
Customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills
Sound judgment and ability to operate safely under pressure
Certification in first-aid or willingness to obtain
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior roadside assistance or towing experience
Experience driving large or utility-type vehicles
Knowledge of CDOT protocols or traffic incident management
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Physical Requirements:
Regularly lifting up to 60 pounds
Standing, walking, bending, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
Operating a vehicle for extended periods
Monday-Friday-Split Shift
6:00AM-9:30 AM and 2:30 PM-7:00 PM
