Job Summary

We are seeking a class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. We have dedicated local runs or regional position available. We are a small family owned company that operate a fleet of well maintained trucks doing mostly flatbed and stepdeck work. Pay is percentage based.

Duties

Operate and drive different types of trucks; including flatbed, step deck and dump trucks. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption in accordance with DOT regulations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving is required, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Clean Driving record Required. Experience in route driving with knowledge of local and regional roadways is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading cargo is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving.
