We are on the lookout for a motivated and reliable CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll be the backbone of our delivery operations, ensuring that goods are transported safely and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch service while operating a semi with a reefer trailer.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a tractor-trailer, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight efficiently, utilizing pallet jacks when necessary to handle heavy items. Navigate assigned routes effectively, maintaining timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Experience

Valid CDL Class A license is required. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience operating refrigerated trailers is highly desirable. Strong understanding of load and unload procedures for various freight types. Excellent route driving skills with a proven track record of timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
