Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining compliance with licensing and contract requirements
Must complete CCS Trainings as prescribed, by each government entity.
Must adhere to the DSPS code of ethics and rules set forth by the WI-Department of Safety & Professional Services, and CCS standards for providing therapeutic services
Responsible for obtaining a minimum of one hour of clinical supervision
Responsible for keeping licensure and related activities up to date.
Responsible for meeting clinical needs of clients/consumers.
Responsible for treatment planning, assessments and progress notes which shall be done completely, accurately, and timely within 72-hours of service delivery
Responsible for meeting with clients/consumers, for their individual sessions every week for a minimum of one hour in duration (In-Home, Telehealth, Community)
Responsible for communicating important clinical updates to the internal and external team
Responsible for collaborating with team members that will help the clients/consumers with goal completion and discharge readiness
Complete detailed individual progress notes on therapy sessions
Build rapport and credibility simultaneously with clients/consumers, and or their families.
Punctuality is an essential part of professional practice. Therapists must begin sessions promptly at the scheduled time.
Relate to clients with empathy, acceptance, warmth and humor.
Work collaboratively with management personnel in fostering a collaborative working relationship.
Qualifications:
Possess a graduate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family, Substance Abuse Counselor or Psychology
Possess an LPC, LCSW, APSW, LPC-IT
At least 1 year of full-time experience in the field
and
providing psychotherapy at that level.
Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and experience with the treatment of trauma, clients with severe mental health concerns, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse treatment including knowledge of 12 step recovery programs.
Must be forward thinking, creative, and maintain high ethical standards.
Must demonstrate sound judgment, problem solving skills, strong organizational skills, good verbal and written skills, and be able to interact effectively with other professional staff.
Must be flexible and use good judgment in handling diverse personalities and emergency situations.
Must be able to work independently and maintain accuracy under the pressure of meeting deadlines.
Must demonstrate good communication skills.
Must adhere to the ethical code of conduct.
Must be very malicious when charting notes.
Therapists will be working at different locations within the area of (Kenosha/Racine/Ozaukee) and must be flexible with availability. (driving time is billable)
