We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our growing team. The Cath Lab Rad Tech will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging and technical support during a variety of diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during endovascular interventions.
Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients during angioplasty, stent placement, atherectomy, and other vascular procedures.
Perform fluoroscopy and acquire high-quality images during procedures such as diagnostic angiograms, angioplasty, stenting, and other peripheral interventions.
Prepare patients for procedures, including sterile field setup, equipment checks, and supply management.
Operate radiology equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry during procedures.
Collaborate with the medical team to ensure effective communication and patient care.
Maintain equipment and ensure that all instruments are sterile and functioning properly.
Document all procedures accurately in patient records, adhering to medical terminology standards.
Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in the lab.
Assist physicians with procedures, patient monitoring, and documentation.
Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly adhered to for patients and staff.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Contribute to the efficient workflow of the Cath lab.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent allied health program.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification Preferred
OR
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification REQUIRED.
Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech) in a Cath lab preferred.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
