The Cath Lab Supervisor supervises, coordinates, and participates in the activities of the Cardiac Services department. This position will oversee all aspects of the cardiac service line to include: Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Cath Lab Holding. The incumbent assures high quality, safe and cost-effective services are provided to CPH patients by an engaged group of community and hospital-based physicians and staff through the implementation of efficient patient process management, service integration, hiring, retention and development of staff, capital planning and new program development.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree in one of the following health care related fields:
+ Registered Nurse or Radiologic Technology with Advanced Level Cardiac Interventional Radiography or Cardiovascular Technologist and Registered Invasive Specialist (RCIS). Licensure or registration/certification as related to healthcare field as follows:
+ Registered Nurse must have current licensure in the state of Alaska; Radiologic Technologist must have current certification from ARRT; CVT/RCIS must have current registry from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Three years of Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology Lab work experience.
Preferred:
Minimum of two years of experience in the supervision of cardiovascular services programs. In depth understanding of all aspects (clinical and non-clinical) of cardiovascular services, demonstrated by operational management experience over cardiac service lines.
Location: Central Peninsula Hospital Cardiac/Cath/IR Lab
Schedule: Full Time, Day, M-F, Call Required.
