Catering & Event Sales Manager

Condor Valley - Philadelphia & Allentown, PA

Condor Valley, led by Chef Jose Garces, is hiring a Catering & Event Sales Manager to drive private dining and catering sales across three distinct Condor Valley brands:

Buena Onda

(Philadelphia) - catering sales focus

Garces Trading Company

(Cira Center) - event and catering sales

okatshe

(Allentown) - catering and onsite events/buyouts
This role focuses on generating leads, building client relationships, and managing events from inquiry to post-event follow-up.

Responsibilities



Sell and manage private dining, catering events, and buyouts across all three locations Prospect, follow up, and close event leads through relationship building and strategic outreach Conduct site visits, tastings, and client meetings Build proposals, contracts, and BEOs with attention to detail and client needs Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones Manage event budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue through upselling Maintain strong corporate and social client relationships Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution Lead and support catering staff during events Track client preferences, event feedback, and financial records for continuous improvement Achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals Regular travel between Philadelphia and Allentown locations required (mileage reimbursed)

Qualifications



3-5+ years in catering/event sales or hospitality (restaurant, hotel, or event venue experience preferred) Strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously Experience with budget management, cost control, and financial reporting Marketing acumen and ability to promote catering services effectively Demonstrated ability to upsell services and menu items Knowledge of Philadelphia/Allentown event market a plus Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced settings while maintaining professionalism Passion for hospitality and Chef Garces cuisine

Compensation



Base Salary: $55,000-$75,000 (DOE) Commission: 5-7% tiered earnings Bonuses: Quarterly performance incentives Benefits: Health insurance, PTO, dining perks, mileage reimbursement
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
