Position Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Catering Drivers & Event Support Specialists. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery and setup of catering orders, providing on-site support during events, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This position is ideal for outgoing individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and take pride in contributing to memorable events. ? Key Responsibilities 1. Delivery & Transportation o Safely load, transport, and unload catering orders using company vehicles or approved personal vehicles. o Ensure all food items, equipment, and supplies are securely packed and delivered on time to various event locations across the Greater Los Angeles area. o Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding order statuses. 2. Event Setup & Breakdown o Set up catering stations, buffet lines, and dining areas according to event specifications and company standards. o Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and decor elements to create an inviting atmosphere for guests. o After events, efficiently break down setups, pack equipment, and ensure venues are left clean and orderly. 3. On-Site Service & Guest Interaction o Assist with food and beverage service during events, including replenishing buffet items and attending to guest needs. o Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience. o Collaborate with event coordinators and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of events. 4. Equipment Maintenance & Inventory o Regularly inspect and maintain catering equipment, reporting any issues to management. o Assist in managing inventory levels of supplies and restocking items as needed. ? Qualifications o Experience: Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or event services is preferred but not required. o Driving Record: Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. o Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks associated with event setup and breakdown. o Availability: Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays. o Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude. o Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for high-profile events. ? Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
