The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Catering Attendant to join our team at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri . As a Catering Attendant, you will ensure the effective operation of assigned catering events, including stocking, serving, cleaning, and delivering the highest quality of guest service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform job duties of a busser, runner, server or the event set-up crew.
• Remove dirty dishes, utensils, and empty glasses from guest tables between courses and after guests depart.
• Motion food from the kitchen to the event guests as quickly as possible.
• Serve food to event guests, and attends to guests\' needs throughout the event.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to event guests responsibly.
• Assist in event setup duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full-service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment.
• Previous experience as food runner preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up of the suite.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand.
• Ability to withstand variable temperatures and noise levels experienced when moving from hot, noisy kitchen conditions to a climate-controlled dining environment.
• Ability to work in confined or narrow spaces if needed.
