Category Consultant - Salty Sam's Club & Walmart
Job Location: Bentonville, AR
Responsible for acting as Category Management Consultant to Sales Partners, retailer key decision makers, and internal Hershey customers to drive consistent Salty topline/net sales growth/share within Sam's Club and Walmart D82. Assesses trends, analyzes data and identifies key customer opportunities consistent with shopper and P&L strategies. Acts as the Category Expert in partnership with retailers to co-create strategic business plans and category initiatives. Uses insights to drive action in the best interest of the salty snacks categories of Pretzels, Puffs, RTE Popcorn and cross-category multipacks.
Responsibilities / Tools include, but are not limited to the following:

• Support Customer Sales Executives (CSEs) with the creation, negotiation, and execution of JBP Plans
• Build an insights driven product portfolio which meets unique needs of Sam's Club/Walmart shoppers and consumers
• Partners with Shopper Insights in creating and leveraging the Shopper Insights learning plan with retailers
• Forecast retail takeaway to support supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and communicate category opportunities and risks to CSEs and the customer
• Act as a project lead that can identify category/business opportunities, build a selling story to gain alignment, create an action plan and drive execution with the retailers and HSY Sales team
• Build new tools and capabilities to analyze and grow the Salty Sam's Club and Walmart Salty ICbusiness
• Build Support materials for Salty Portfolio Retail Selling initiatives including Sell Sheets, Retail Goals and Projections, and Tracking
• Advanced analytical skills, advanced understanding of consumershopper behavior and market research strategies, knowledge of consumer sales industry trends

Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
• This position requires previous Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience (approximately 3-5 years)
• Experience with Retailer Data, Shopper insights tools (Numerator, Luminate, etc) Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Mastercard APT) Preferred

Skills Required
