Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks will contribute to a positive shopping experience in our grocery store environment.

Responsibilities

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure products are displayed attractively. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Upsell products when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities.

Skills

Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Strong communication skills, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
