Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately

Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including restrooms and common areas

Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability

Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols

Supervise and train new staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding store operations

Skills

Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions accurately

Strong phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone

Ability to manage stock levels and assist with inventory management

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively

Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base

Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Previous sales experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred

A proactive attitude towards learning new products and services offered by the store

Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus
