What you'll do

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs to enhance their experience. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions and handle cash with precision. Provide product demonstrations and share knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Upsell products by highlighting special promotions and features that meet customer needs. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring effective merchandising of products. Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory to keep the store well-supplied and appealing. Handle customer inquiries over the phone with excellent phone etiquette, ensuring all questions are answered promptly. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and success.

Basic qualifications

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, particularly in a grocery store environment. Bilingual abilities to better serve our diverse customer base. Supervising experience is a plus, as it helps in guiding new team members.
