We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. A strong emphasis on communication skills and customer service is essential for success in this position.
Our company operates across six locations throughout El Paso, from Horizon to Mesa, as well as one location in Las Cruces, NM.

as needed. Team members may be temporarily reassigned for purposes such as training, coverage, or to meet operational needs. For this reason,

Responsibilities
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions and handle cash accurately.
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their needs.
Engage in upselling and merchandising to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
Conduct product demonstrations to inform customers about features and benefits.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and store displays.
Assist with stocking shelves, managing inventory, and ensuring products are well-presented.
Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Experience
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Familiarity with cashiering duties and cash handling procedures is essential.
Supervising experience is a plus for those looking to advance within the company.

Knowledge of grocery store operations, including stocking and merchandising practices, is beneficial.
