Zest Culinary Services is hiring a Cashier for our newest contract location in Jackson, MS -- a multi-use facility featuring hotel, meeting, and dining services just north of I-220.



This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality but prefers a Monday-Friday schedule. You'll be the friendly face of our dining area, handling transactions and helping guests have a smooth, positive experience. Weekends and holidays off (with the exception of 2-3 emergencies per year)!

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide excellent customer service Operate cash register/POS system accurately and efficiently Handle cash and credit transactions, balance drawer at shift end Assist with kitchen and food prep duties as needed Maintain cleanliness of cashier area and dining room Follow

and company food handling/safety standards

Qualifications

Previous cashier or food service experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
