The Cashier at The Budlong Hot Chicken is the guest's first interaction when entering the restaurant. The Cashier provides timely, accurate, and friendly guest service as well as assisting third-party drivers. The Cashier maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.
Requirements
Friendly, guest-focused individual who enjoys serving others in a team environment. Solid organization skills and attention to detail required.
Responsibilities
Welcoming and greeting guests
Assisting guests in determining their food and drink orders
Maintaining an accurate record of daily food and drink orders in the Point of Sale
Processing guest orders in a timely manner
Instructing kitchen staff on guest orders
Ensuring all orders are delivered on time and correct
Accepting cash, gift card, and credit card payments
Calculating the day's income at the end of the shift
Packing food orders using the packaging standard operation procedures
Staying up to date on promotions, advertisements, and product information
Addressing and resolving guest queries on time
Cleaning and arranging kitchen space whenever required
Keeping the restaurant manager informed about any serious issues
Stocking supplies, cleaning, and tidying in between guests
Following opening and closing procedures
