Job Summary

We are seeking a

passionate and customer-oriented cashier food expeditor

to join our team! The applicant should be available to work between Tuesday to Thursday 9am - 3pm. Our pop-up located at the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center specializes in

Argentinian & European pastries

.

As a

cashier food expeditor

you will be responsible for:

- Selling and serving pastries

for the customers

-

Maintain

a clean and organized aspect of the pastries and cake windows.

- Providing exceptional customer service

by greeting customers, understanding orders, and answering any questions about menu items while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

- Keeping the workspace clean and organized

, including equipment, utensils, and display areas to ensure smooth daily operations.

Also, you will be expected to:

Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of pastries and paper products related to your specific section Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience. Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

Previous experience in similar positions is optional but a great plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner. Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and making change accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is optional but a great plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 18 per week
