Summary




Supports the Branch Network and Commercial Department as a Cash Management Support Officer with primary focus on Cash Management services as follows: o ACH Payroll Services o Internet Wire Services o Remote Deposit Services o Positive Pay Services (Check and ACH) o Autobooks o Account Reconcilement Services o ACH Cash Concentration Services o Merchant Services o Cash Sweep Services o CDARS/ICS Services o Personal and Business Credit and Debit Cards This position is the primary point of contact for internal and external clients regarding the above services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Client Service




Ability to interact (in person, phone, and electronic communication) with the public well and to deal effectively with their questions or problems.

Knows the Bank's products and services thoroughly and seeks out opportunities to explain, promote, or sell products/services.

Continuously demonstrates a helpful, friendly attitude and is committed to providing excellent client service. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, and officials in other departments.

Ability to deal effectively with businesses, answer their questions and assist with issues or problems as they arise. Ability to assist the Commercial Team with their business clients in training and in person meetings if needed. Serves as a model of excellent client service to other employees.

Handles client complaints or questions and refers them to the appropriate party to remedy the situation.

Works directly with business clients remotely or at their location to configure various cash management services.

Ability to work with business accountholders in determining services needed in the cash management space.

Must adhere to supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Potomac Bank's policies and applicable laws

Responsible for following/adhering to established New Hire Onboarding Program

Commercial Cash Management Support




Provide timely response to all client inquiries as a highest priority.

Attend Commercial/Sales Team meetings as requested, to assist the Commercial Team with their business clients' needs.

Participate in client and prospect sales calls with the sale lead as a cash management subject matter expert.

Maintain an Excel spreadsheet tracking the current cash management services pipeline.

Assist Mortgage, Commercial, and Retail divisions on cash management Inquiries. Set up and maintain business cash management services and users through several vendor supported mitigation tools. Other duties that may be assigned by management.

Maintains neat and orderly work area and ensures that all negotiable and confidential records (physical and digital) are properly secured at all times.

Understands role in case of disaster or robbery, whether victim or bystander, and knows proper post-robbery procedures.

Professional appearance that evokes the client's trust.

Adheres to all bank policies and procedures and to internal controls and system access restrictions.

CRITICAL SKILLS




Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department co-workers and employees and officers in other departments.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the cash management business online banking clients. Self Development: pursue additional education or training to remain current, improve knowledge, and diversify skills. Client confidentiality - never reveals or divulges client information to anyone outside of the bank.

Versatility - Ability to multi-task under pressure and fast paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



Associates/ bachelor's degree or at least 3-5 years in Cash Management (ACH and Wire processing).


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



Position requires a person with a pleasant and professional personality who has excellent client service skills, has good organizational skills, and has good time management skills.

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a group, is essential.

Good working knowledge of the CM Products and functions needed for business clients. Ability to understand and carry out oral or written instructions

Must have ability to operate a computer, adding machine, and standard office equipment

Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, and business financial statements

Ability to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly. Ability to apply common sense in understanding and carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to attend any internal or external training courses deemed necessary for continuing education in the respective field.
