Jenna's Promise is seeking a self-driven, compassionate, dedicated individual who
lives, breathes, and spreads the hope of recovery to join the team as a Case
Manager for the Jenna's Promise Recovery Residence Program. Proven leaders
who are in recovery themselves are strongly encouraged to apply, as we value
lived experience.
The Case Manager must support residents in numerous ways, including providing
them with community and connection. The Case Manager will be given the
opportunity to guide, support, and influence change on a personal, local, and
statewide level, as well as the ability to influence healthy behaviors, create
various house activities, and be a supportive and nurturing role model in the
recovery community. The case manager will also support our team
of recovery support specialists while working directly with the director of
recovery residences, our clinical team, and other staff and leadership.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience supporting individuals recovering from substance use disorder,
mental health conditions, and/or complex traumas.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and resolving conflicts.
If in recovery, at least 2 years of continuous recovery
If in recovery, demonstrate continued engagement in individual recovery
pathway and commitment to the recovery community.
Demonstrate an understanding of and be respectful of individuals unique
paths to and in recovery.
Must have or will be required to achieve recovery coach certification and
attend other trainings and continuing education upon employment
Must have a willingness to engage in personal and professional
development opportunities
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide transportation for
others
Day-to-day Responsibilities
Daily morning meetings (Monday through Thurday) with all residents to
share and support their recovery paths.
Attend and schedule monthly individual residential team meetings with the
clinical team
Work closely with Recovery Support specialists to meet the needs of each
resident
Develop, educate and enforce residential rules and the consequences.
Ensuring resident referral, intake, and documentation policies and
procedures are grounded in best practices and are adhered to. This
includes consulting with the team to determine admission process,
inclusion and exclusion criteria, advancement through phases of the
program, and more.
Outreach and community engagement
Consulting on all referrals, admissions, and discharges
Helping to build a community of recovery, hope, empowerment,
connection and integrity
Implementing achievement/recognition phases of the program
Working on multidisciplinary teams to provide the best possible resident
care
Medication management and documentation
Transport to appointments for participants when needed
Participate in bi-weekly house meetings/ treatment team meetings
Ensuring participants are meeting recovery commitments and house
requirements
Providing structure within the recovery residences and monitoring
participant's ability to engage in daily routine to include participation in
household chores.
Breathalyzing and drug testing participants as necessary
Maintain professional boundaries and communication with each
participant
Consistent communication with supervisor, including all necessary reports
Receive supervision from the program director and take necessary
corrective measures with regard to project feedback and career
development
