Wright Step Counseling and Recovery is seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Case Manager

to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will coordinate and deliver comprehensive support services to individuals facing complex challenges, including behavioral health issues, addiction, child welfare concerns, and housing needs. Your energetic approach will empower clients to achieve stability, independence, and improved quality of life. As a Case Manager, you will serve as a trusted advocate, guiding clients through crisis situations and connecting them with essential resources such as Medicaid, Section 8 housing, workforce development programs, and childcare services. Responsibilities



Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' needs related to behavioral health, addiction counseling, child welfare, and social services. Develop personalized care plans that incorporate crisis intervention strategies and motivational interviewing techniques to motivate positive change. Provide ongoing support and supervision once per month to clients navigating complex systems such as Medicare, Section 8 housing, or workforce development programs. Manage crisis situations effectively by implementing crisis management protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary. Offer mentoring and guidance to clients on topics like childcare, employment opportunities, and community resources. Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, progress notes, and incident reports in compliance with agency standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, healthcare providers, housing agencies, and community organizations to ensure holistic client support.

Requirements



Proven experience in social work, behavioral health, or related fields with supervising or mentoring responsibilities preferred. Strong skills in crisis intervention and crisis management with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and behavioral health practices. Familiarity with programs such as Medicaid, Section 8 housing vouchers, child welfare services, and workforce development initiatives. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients through motivational interviewing methods. Ability to handle sensitive situations involving child safety or mental health crises with professionalism and empathy. Prior experience working with diverse populations including children receiving childcare support or families involved in welfare programs is highly desirable. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
