Under the general supervision of the Manager of Case Management Services the Case Manager (Floater) is responsible for working closely with job seekers to conduct intakes, assess service suitability, develop and implement action plans, and secure employment. The Case Manager (Floater) will step in to provide coverage support to the WorkBC catchment during times of high client demand and/or staffing shortages caused by role vacancies and/or staff vacations.
The Case Manager (Floater) position in unique in that it will provide services and support to the WorkBC catchment when coverage is required, such as during vacations and role vacancies and will not oversee a caseload on a long-term, ongoing basis. The Case Manager (Floater) will focus on intakes, action plan follow-up, and employment placements and will contribute to the overall goals and objectives of the project. The position is part of a multi-agency team who supports linking clients to employment and training opportunities, while upholding the YWCA's mission and values.
