We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager/ Family Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and resources to families in need, ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting healthy family dynamics. Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to identify the needs of families and children. Develop and implement individualized service plans that address family challenges. Provide crisis intervention and management support to families experiencing difficulties. Collaborate with child protective services and other community resources to ensure comprehensive support. Facilitate communication between families and relevant agencies, including legal entities when necessary. Offer guidance on conflict management strategies within family dynamics. Maintain accurate documentation of case notes, progress reports, and service plans. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to behavioral health and family law.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field preferred. Experience working with children and families in a supportive capacity. Knowledge of child protective services, child welfare systems, and family law. Strong crisis intervention and management skills. Excellent conflict management abilities with a focus on resolution strategies. Familiarity with behavioral health issues affecting children and families. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and community organizations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
