Job Summary:


This role contributes to and helps develop the strategic design, planning, and successful implementation of the Selerix / Bensel enrollment platform. Allstate supports our partners by providing an enrollment platform to enroll our products. This position works closely with sales and implementation teams as well as the other members of the internal Bensel team to meet enrollment deadlines and output requirements.

Duties include:


  • Reviewing case builds for accuracy / proper configurations
  • Account and product configuration on in-house managed accounts, census configuration, enrollment scenario testing, peer-review for in-house account configurations, production reporting,
  • Technical issue management with cross-functional teams, documentation of end user guidance materials such as job aids and manuals and providing telephonic/email responses to end user inquiries.
  • Resolving support tickets due to file processing errors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Configure account setup for enrollment on the Selerix platform (many AB and non-AB managed Benefit Selection platforms)
  • Configure product specifications in accordance with AB standards
  • Configure census data for enrollment purposes
  • Configure production reporting
  • Record and disseminate end user feedback
  • Provide issue resolution for end users in the account set up and enrollment modules
  • Contribute to the accuracy of all supporting documentation
  • Collaborate closely with internal business areas, field sales distribution, implementation teams, underwriting, and new business to effectively recognize and solve case level enrollment issues and reinforce corporate initiatives.
  • Assists in driving results through the development of effective relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Resolves escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues.
  • Continuous improvements with processes and programs.
  • Manage workflow to ensure timely, quality setup, review and implementation.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of resources to meet established goals. Comprehensive working knowledge of BenSel enrollment systems review processes within accountability.
  • Maintain communications with BSC, case builders and other business teams to facilitate resolution and share information.
  • Ability to manage multiple external enrollment technology partner relationships.
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures and make appropriate recommendations for process improvements.
  • Define team objectives and contribute to departmental and company objectives. Assess team strengths and weaknesses in order to identify opportunity areas.
  • Act as a liaison between Enrollment Technology Solutions team, Allstate Benefits business units and enrollment technology partners for the review of compliance related content of new and current enrollment systems.
  • Prepare communications and make presentations as needed.
  • Build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
  • Solve a range of escalated issues; analyze and create solutions.


Knowledge/Functional Skills/Abilities:


  • Prior experience on the Selerix enrollment engine (Benefit Selection platform) is highly desirable, especially as a Case Builder.
  • Knowledge, understanding and/or prior experience of the voluntary benefit enrollment process preferred
  • Associates degree or higher preferred in the Computer Science or business-related fields or related experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • High degree of self-management/multi-tasking capacity in a high stress team-oriented environment required
  • 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in case set up for enrollment of employee benefits preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, OneNote, Teams and Outlook)
  • Knowledge, understanding and/or prior experience of the voluntary benefit enrollment process preferred.
  • Strategic thinker and curious learner.
  • Self-starter with a keen sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to fulfill objectives
  • Ability to function well in high volume and quick turn-around environment
  • Solutions-focused and resourceful problem solver who quickly adapts to changing environments and enjoys working with ambiguity.
  • Advanced communication skills including written and oral, interpersonal skills required to communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Potential candidate must be ok with reaching out to fellow team members and not afraid to speak up/contribute or ask questions. (Remote position)
  • High degree of self-management/multi-tasking capacity in a high stress team-oriented environment required.
  • Possesses working knowledge of processes, policies, and procedures relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with current industry standards/environment that impact decisions and indicates requirements

HRIS system management and/or,
Scripting (JavaScript)


Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Selerix/Benefit Selection platform experience a plus
  • Voluntary Benefit knowledge a plus
  • Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce a plus.
