In the Meriden plant, a team member sets up and runs cartridge production equipment under supervision.

Essential duties and responsibilities


-----------------------------------------

Configure and manage LifeASSURE(TM) cartridge manufacturing machinery. Setup pleaters and cartridge equipment for LifeASSURE(TM) cartridge operatives. Teach operators on accurate techniques for operating equipment. Keep records and location of cartridges produced. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Observe all company and OSHA safety rules and practices. Check own work and work of other employees in the department and resolve any discrepancies with the team. Assist other department members to ensure safety and improve output. Perform various production operations safely and fill in on positions throughout manufacturing as required. Aid in the development of fellow team members. Access information via computer when needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Reading: Read instructions for assembling equipment. Read books, looking up unfamiliar words in the dictionary for meaning, spelling, and pronunciation.


Writing: Print simple sentences containing subject, verb, and object, and series of numbers and names.


Speaking: Speak simple sentences, using normal word order, and present and past tenses.

Mathematical skills

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure. Perform the four operations with like common and decimal fractions.

Compensation and Benefits




The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $19.64-$29.45.
